NEW FOUR-CYLINDER DIESEL AT 75HP
The new lightweight 75HP (55kW) 4JH4-TE diesel engine from Yanmar Marine has a series of new features compared with the previous 75HP model.

YANMAR AND BMW ENGINE SUPPLY AGREEMENT
YANMAR CO LTD and BMW AG, German manufacturer of luxury vehicles, have agreed that BMW will supply four and six cylinder Diesel engines designed for high performance use to YANMAR MARINE INTERNATIONAL BV as the base engine for the new YANMAR MARINE product line.

YANMAR MARINE REPORTS STRONG SALES
Diesel specialist Yanmar Marine reports that 2004 was its strongest year to date for engine sales and it has sold more units in the first three quarters of this year than it did in the corresponding 2004 period.

NEW COMPACT TRANSMISSIONS
New Yanmar by Kanzaki KMH series hydraulic transmissions will be fitted to the recently-announced Yanmar six-cylinder electronically controlled diesel engines and made widely available to boat builders.

ELECTRONIC CONTROL DIESELS SERIES EXTENDED
Yanmar Marine is introducing two more engines in its new generation series of electronic control diesels. The new 6LY3-STP is rated at 440HP (324kW) and the 6LY3-UTP is 380HP (279kW), both at 3,300rpm and measured under conditions defined by ISO 8665 conditions.
